Which army?
I'm still very confused as to which Fantasy army I will collect. We (By we I mean me, Sam, Damon, Greg and whoever else has joined by now) are getting 750pts armies to start with an expanding them as we go along. Now at the moment (Though it's not set in concrete):-
- Sam will be getting Dark Elves. Not that I'm particularly scared- yet. I haven't seen the new rules yet so I don't know what to expect.
- Damon will be getting High Elves. I know most of the stuff about High Elves; they aren't too troublesome if they're handled correctly and swiftly.
- Greg will be getting Vampire Counts. Gah! I've heard they're rather unbeatable , but no doubt Greg will cock up one way or another.
So that excludes those three. I'm not remotely interested in any of them, but never the less I do have some armies in mind:-
- Goblins. Nope, not Orcs. While I do like Orcs (Particularly the Black Orcs and Savages), I've always liked the idea of a little Goblin horde, lead by a Goblin in a chariot. Not exactly the best army, but interesting to collect.
- Warriors of Chaos. Dependent upon the new rules, though if rumours are correct then I definately want to get them, particularly with those awesome new minis. Khorne or Tzeentch, or maybe Slaanesh. Not nurgle though, can't stand em.
- Beasts of Chaos. They really need an update. They're pretty awesome though; just not particularly powerful, and the models are a bit ugly.
- Empire. Though I wouldn't exactly have Empire has such; more a human army using rules from the Empire book. Very flexible fluff and modelling, but how are their rules?
Now, if anyone can convince me otherwise to collect their army, please do. At the moment it's a battle of Goblins and Warriors of Chaos. If anyone can help, gladly appreciated!
